Below is a list of what you need to do to complete your registration.
Below is a list of what you need to do to complete your registration.
- Complete the Michigan State Finals Registration form. This form should be completed by the primary coach listed on the team's registration. Information you will need to collect to complete this form is:
- Team ID#, Problem, Division.
- Any team disabilities or special needs.
- ANY TEAM CONFLICTS - These MUST be listed here. Please be specific!
- Any additional Coaches information including name, email address & cell phone.
- Team judge's name, email address & cell phone.
- Team volunteer's name, email & cell phone.
- Your teams will be automatically advanced to the State Finals Tournament but (similar to the Regional registration process) you will receive an invitation to register and will need to reenter some of your team's information through the Competition Portal. A few miscellaneous notes:
- You have to wait until you receive the invitation to State Finals before you can update your team's information.
- The team's roster of coaches and team members should transfer over as well any disabilities that were entered for a specific team member or coach. Please check to make sure that these are still there and update them if needed.
- Like you did for your Regional Tournament, you will need to add your judge and volunteer information here as well.
- Once you are sure you have all of the information entered correctly you will need to "finalize" your registration like you did for your Regional Tournament. Please make sure that your Team, coach, judge and volunteer information have ALL BEEN ENTERED before clicking the "Finalize Registration" button.
- Pay your $50 State Finals Tournament fee. This can be paid online using our Zeffy link or by sending a check made out to "Creativity Unlimited in Michigan". Checks should be sent to our Treasurer, Paula Mittner at 1017 Paradise Lake Dr., Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
- PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR EMAIL! State Finals coaches receive several emails in the run up to the tournament. You and your team are responsible for reading these emails.
- Remind your judges and volunteer to PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON THEIR EMAIL! Judges and volunteers will also be receiving email and will need to reply to it in a timely manner. Please remember that judges and volunteers are a requirement for competition and NO SHOW judges or volunteers can result in fines.
Thanks & see you at State Finals!
So, now that you are registered...
